Abstract: The protective effect of carnosine was investigated in rats exposed to testicular toxicity induced by sodium arsenite (10 mg/kg/day, p.o., for 2 consecutive days). Carnosine (50 mg/kg/day, i.p.) was given for 5 consecutive days, starting three days before sodium arsenite administration. Carnosine significantly attenuated the arsenic-induced decreases of serum testosterone and testicular reduced glutathione levels, and significantly decreased the elevations of testicular malondialdehyde, and nitric oxide resulted from sodium arsenite administration. Carnosine also significantly decreased the arsenic-induced increases of testicular nuclear factor-κB, tumor necrosis factor-α, inducible nitric oxide synthase, cyclooxygenase-2, and caspase-3. It was concluded that carnosine represents a potential candidate to protect against the deleterious effects of arsenic on testicular tissue.

Abstract: Acute myocardial infarction (MI) is typically precipitated by thrombosis superimposed upon a ruptured coronary plaque. CD36 is a multifunctional integral-membrane glycoprotein that acts as a receptor for thrombospondin, collagen, long-chain fatty acids, and oxidized LDL and it was be shown that CD36 can account for up to 40% of the binding and internalization of oxidized LDL by macrophages. In a case-control study we evaluate the role of cd36 polymorphisms in predisposition to Myocardial Infarction among population of Tarabah province. Using PCR-RFLP three reported CD36 mutations (C478T, Del539AC and ins1159A) were screening in 120 MI Cases and 120 Healthy controls. None of the three mutations were detected in this study population (MI cases or controls). We concluded that these polymorphisms were not detected in study population and have no role in genetic susceptibility to MI in Saudi population from Turabah in western region of Saudi Arabia. We recommend further large studies are needed to confirm the absence of these polymorphism in Saudi population in Turabah and other regions.

Abstract: The main purpose of this paper is to introduce the modern technology adoption its importance, usage and role in agriculture improvement. In the last century, the basic agriculture technology like machines has changed a little. Though the modern technology, planters and harvesters do a better job or are slightly tweaked from their predecessors. The US$250,000 combine of today still cuts, threshes, and separates grain in the same way it has always been done. However, the modern technology is changing the way that humans operate the machines, GPS locators, as computer monitoring systems and self-steer programs allow the most advanced tractors and implements to be more precise and less wasteful in the use of fuel, fertilizer or seed. In future, there may be mass production of driverless tractors and other agriculture machinery which use electronic sensors and GPS maps.

Abstract: Where we are in the age of information revolution, exchange information, and transport data effectively among various sectors of government, commercial, service and industrial, etc., the uses of a new databases model to support this trend has become very important because inability of traditional databases models to support it. eXtensible Markup Language (XML) considers a new standard model for data interchange through internet and mobiles devices networks, it has become a common language to exchange and share the data of traditional models in easy and inexpensive ways. In this research, we propose a new technique to convert the relational database contents and schema into XML schema (XSD- XML Schema Definition), the main idea of the technique is extracting relational database catalog using Structured Query Language (SQL). We follow three steps to complete the conversion process. First, extracting relation instance (actual content) and schema catalog using SQL query language, which consider the required information to implement XML document and its schema. Second, transform the actual content into XML document tree. The idea of this step is converting table columns of the relations (tables) into the elements of XML document. Third, transform schema catalog into XML schema for describing the structure of the XML document. To do so, we transform datatype of the elements and the variant data constrains such as data length, not null, check and default, moreover define primary foreign keys and the referential integrity between the tables. Overall results of the technique are very promise while the technique is very clear and does not require complex procedures that could adversely effect on the results accuracy. We performed many experiments and report their elapsed CPU times.

Abstract: Grains of eight durum wheat cultivars were tested for identification of genetic relationship among molecular, anatomical and morphological levels. On the molecular level, two techniques have been used; Randomly Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and Inter Simple Sequence Repeats (ISSR). Amplification of RAPD primers showed different numbers of fragments ranged from six to thirteen fragments. Percentage of polymorphism ranged from 0% to 100%. The highest similarity value recorded was 91%, while the lowest similarity value was 69%. Amplification of ISSR primers showed different numbers of fragments ranged from six to twelve fragments. The highest similarity value recorded was 91%, while the lowest similarity value was 68%. The grains coat morphology was reticulated in all taxa. There were variations with regard to the alignment and the shape of network and architecture of interspaces enclosed by raised line. Stem and leaf are important organs consisting of storage, transportation and mechanical tissues and is closely related to yield. These tissues similarity used for detect the genetic relationship between the cultivars.
